Mark Holyoak named CEO of Castleview Hospital

Price, Utah (February 24, 2024) - Castleview Hospital has named Mark Holyoak as its chief executive officer (CEO), effective March 17. This marks a return for Holyoak, who previously led Castleview as CEO from 2011 to 2018. With more than 24 years of experience in hospital leadership, he brings expertise in operations, physician recruitment, strategic growth and quality improvement.
Holyoak most recently served as chief executive officer of Lourdes Health in Pasco, Washington, where he led efforts to expand services, improve quality and strengthen a culture of patient safety and engagement. His leadership has been recognized for advancing patient care, enhancing hospital operations and ensuring hospitals remain responsive to evolving community needs.
“It is an honor to return to Castleview Hospital and the community of Price,” Holyoak said. “This hospital has always been special to me, both professionally and personally. I look forward to working with the team again to provide high-quality care and expand access to services for our patients.”
During his previous tenure at Castleview, Holyoak helped strengthen hospital operations, recruit providers and oversee key facility improvements, including a hospital expansion project. Under his leadership, Castleview received national recognition for rural healthcare excellence.

Holyoak earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix., a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Creighton University and a Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry from Southern Utah University. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and a certified professional in patient safety (CPPS).
