Our highly skilled physicians and nurses provide family centered care in a state of the art facility. Parental education is also available to new parents.

Special Care Nursery (Level 2 NICU)
Castleview Hospital has a level 2 nursery (a.k.a. neonatal intensive care unit) for newborns needing extra care. Should your baby need specialty care beyond our nursery's capabilities, our team is able to partner with the University of Utah team through telehealth. The University of Utah physician can be in the room to help determine the best next steps. If transport is needed, the Castleview team is trained and ready to prepare your baby for a safe journey to the most appropriate facility.
Maternity Professionals
Our team of maternity professionals includes obstetrician-gynecologists and family practitioners credentialed to perform cesarean section, from whom you can choose to help deliver your baby. Meet our maternity professionals. For newborn needs, we have pediatricians and family practitioners for you to choose from.
