Meet the Staff at Emery Medical Center:
Ingrid Olsen, PA
Ingrid Olsen was born in Monticello, Utah and currently resides in Castle Dale with her husband Scott Olsen, who is from Emery County. Ingrid received her Physical Therapy degree from the University of Utah and worked in the Neuro Rehab at the University of Utah. After having worked as a Physical Therapist for 13 years, Ingrid and her family moved to Mesa, Arizona where she obtained her Physician Assistant Degree. After finishing her degree, Ingrid and her family were excited to return to Emery County. She worked in Price for 7 years and started working at Emery Medical Center in January 2015. She loves doing family practice and women's health for the residents of Emery and Carbon Counties.
Gabe Sermon, PA
Gabriel Sermon is one of our experienced Physician Assistants here at Emery Medical Center. He was born and raised in American Fork, Utah and currently lives in Castle Dale with his wife and 6 children. He went to the University of Utah for his Bachelor's Degree in Exercise and Sports Science. He then went to Towson University in Maryland for PA school and received his Master's Degree. He is a Certified Physician Assistant, and is PALS, BLS and AWLS certified. He enjoys being with is family and the outdoors. Camping, biking, soccer are just a few of his hobbies, he also enjoys playing the drums and all kinds of music. Gabe is active in the community.
Dalen Johnson, NP
Dalen Johnson is Emery Medical Center's Nurse Practitioner. He was raised in Moab until he was 14 years old. He attended high school at North Sanpete High and served an LDS Mission in Sao Paul, Brazil. When Dalen returned from his mission he met and married Tiffany Scow from Orangeville, Utah. Dalen attended CEU where he received his Associates Degree in Science and Nursing. He continued his education at UVU where he earned his BSN and went on to earn his Family Nurse Practitioner's Degree at the University of Utah. During this time, Dalen worked full time at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center as an RN in the Cardiac ICU and cardiac catheterization lab for eight years. Dalen is NIOSH certified, and is also certified to do spirometry testing, CAOHC Certified (hearing booth testing), and enjoys providing DOT Physicals. Dalen enjoys being outdoors, coaching softball, and watching kids games and activities.
Tiffany Jeffs, NP
Tiffany Jeffs is a long-term resident of Emery County. She is an AANC and AANP board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner focused on providing quality care and maintaining direct lines of communication with patients. She is excited to be serving Emery County and the surrounding area.
